Bulkowski: Nicholas Joseph - Passed away peacefully at the
age of 102 at his home, The Community Nursing Home in Port Hope, ON. Nick was
born on Nov. 7, 1904 in Tarnopol, Galacia (Poland). He is survived by his sister
Mary Buckley of Cobourg and many loving nieces and nephews. Nick is predeceased
by his brothers Frank, Martin, Michael, Tony, Peter and his sisters Josephine
Kupnicki (Jessie) and Victoria Brackenbury. Nick served overseas in WWII and was
a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Friends may call at the Ross
Funeral Chapel Friday from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9, parish prayers at 8 p.m. A mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church 155 Walton St.,
Port Hope, Saturday April 28th at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal with Prayers will
follow at St. Mary’s cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Our
Lady of Mercy Church or The Community Nursing Home would be appreciated by the
