Our
Lady of Mercy Church in Port Hope was host to a World Youth Day gathering at
Port Hope Memorial Park and Bandshell for all pilgrims, an all-day event,
July 20, 2002 Pilgrims of World Youth Day celebrations are having fun
exploring Cobourg and Port Hope before making their way to Toronto the following
week, for World Youth Day celebrations and to take part in the Public Mass,
being led by the Pope on July 28.
