Burns, John Patrick at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in his 81st. year. Beloved husband of Catherine Monica Burns (née Stone). Dear father of Thomas Edward Burns (Ginette), Kathleen Elizabeth Gordon (Mark), Maureen Anne Dowsett (Matthew), Leona Mary Burns, Michael David Burns, Alice Monica Wainman (David), Eileen Patricia Coombs (Marc) and Julia Clare Stubbs (Jeffery). Grandfather of Patrick (Elena), Stephane, Jennifer (Mike), Adam, Emily (Adam), Alasdair, Andrew, Elizabeth (Gavin), Christopher (Erin), Alexander, Laurie, Joseph, Dawson, Julia, Michelle, Lisa, Ben, Matthew, Molly and Daniel. Great grandfather of Declan, Jessica, Owen and Madoc. Brother of Mary Howard (James), Theresa Ferguson (Gerald), Fran Munro (Murray), Kathleen McDuff  (John), Alice Collins (Karl), James Burns (Marion) and Edward predeceased. Friends may call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Sunday, November 13thfrom 4 – 9 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be said at 8:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael’s Church, Cobourg (corner of University Ave. and Division St) on Monday, November 14that 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Grafton.
